I started photography with a compact Samsung WB700, then upgraded to my sister's Nikon D3200 with a 18-105mm lens. I realized quickly it was not enough for planespotting so I decided to buy a new camera. I now use a Nikon D5300 with 3 lenses: a 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6, a 70-300G ED VR f/4.5-5.6, both Nikkor lenses, and a Sigma 150-600 f/5-6.3 Contemporary. I'm very happy about it. For the videos I use a Sony HDR-CX-320E camera with both Manfrotto and a Vitrilux tripods depending on the days.
